Editorial Standards

Mard Health publishes educational guides on men's health. This page documents how we research, write, review, and update that content — and what we explicitly do not do.

Purpose

Our guides exist to help readers understand wellness topics that affect them. They are written to be read once and used as a reference — not consumed as a content stream, and not used as a substitute for clinical care.

Evidence base

Every substantive claim in a Mard Health guide is supported by at least one of: a peer-reviewed study, an established clinical-practice guideline, or expert clinical experience from our reviewers. Where research is mixed, we say so.

Expert review

Each guide is reviewed by at least one certified wellness specialist with relevant experience before publication. For intimate-health topics, review is performed by qualified health experts with specific expertise in that area.

Updates and corrections

Guides are reviewed annually and updated when new evidence meaningfully changes a recommendation. Material corrections are noted at the top of the affected guide with the date of the update.

What we do not do

We do not provide individualized medical advice, make diagnoses, prescribe medications, or substitute for the care of a licensed clinician. Our guides are not screening tools. We do not collect symptoms or run digital intake.

Spot an error in one of our guides, or want to challenge a claim? Email support@mardhealth.com with the guide title and the specific page. We take accuracy seriously and update guides when corrections are warranted.
